
James Humphreys is the chair of the firm’s Litigation practice group. While maintaining an active litigation practice between Knoxville, Tennessee, and Roanoke, Virginia, Mr. Humphreys routinely serves as co-counsel in litigated cases with attorneys from other law firms.
Born in Abingdon, Virginia, and raised in Wise, Virginia, Mr. Humphreys practiced law in Abingdon before joining the firm in 1990. He also holds a private pilot’s license.
